Tata Ipl Score Table – TATA IPL is generally known for its tough competitions. But the RCB VS MI game turned out to be a one-sided affair. Mumbai Indians continued their tradition of losing their first match in every IPL season as RCB beat them by 8 wickets with over 3 overs to spare. Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis were the stars for RCB.

This was a cumulative bowling effort by them. MI players played in the first round and lost their composure. Most of them were unlucky and went out due to poor shot selection. Among the batsmen, it was Tilak Varma who played the innings of life. Here’s what it looks like:

The first over of the first innings ended in RCB’s favour. Mumbai Indians have never struggled so much in any RCV VS MI match. There were instances where Mumbai players were unlucky, but sometimes it was poor shot selection that cost them. Ishan Kishan was once again sent to the pavilion when he tried to clear the fence and got the lead. Rohit Sharma caught behind the bowling of Harshal Patel. MI were stranded at 20-3 when Sharma returned.

Tilak Varma handles the last 10 overs. He was the star of the night. He justified the hype around his name with good performances. Tilak held out strongly at one end while wickets continued to crumble at the other end. Another very good player is Nihal Wadhera. The ‘Six Engines’ from Punjab, playing their first IPL game. He got 21 off 13 balls but his innings had an impact. He made an impression in the RCB VS MI Match.

Tilak, on the other hand, plays big strokes. He timed the ball to perfection. He finished the innings with the last six balls and scored 84 off 46 balls. MI finished with 171 from 20 overs. RCB’s bowling was a team effort. All the bowlers were chipped with wickets. But Karan Sharma is the most famous. He got a fair share of dangerous looks from Nehal Wadhera and Tim David as well in the first innings of RCB VS MI.

The second innings of the RCB VS MI game witnessed complete domination by the RCB batsmen. RCB batsmen ruined MI bowlers’ party. Even the ‘Kohli VS Archer’ contest looks like a one-sided affair. Kohli dominated Archer. He asked her to run away. Faf and Virat opened the innings. Jason Behrendorff was bought into the field as an impact player in place of Surya. Faf started from the first by himself. Elite timing as well as footwork in the RCB VS MI match.

Virat Kohli and Faf Du Plessis played well and showed exactly why RCB’s batting is so dangerous. They seem unstoppable. There was only one chance created by Archer but he dropped it while bowling to Kohli. He scored 53 runs in the first 6 overs. The first wicket fell for RCB on 148. But by then it was too late. DK came in third. He was also fired. But Virat took RCB home safely with 3 overs to spare. Mohammad Arshad Khan got his first wicket in IPL in the RCB VS MI match.
