The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the fixtures for the 16th T20 edition on Friday (February 17). The tournament is scheduled to begin on March 31, 2023 with a match between defending champions Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings. Meanwhile, the top match will take place on May 28.

The day after the opening clash, a double-header on 1 April sees Punjab Kings take on Kolkata Knight Riders in the first match of the day, followed by Lucknow Supergiants and Delhi Capitals. Sunrisers Hyderabad will face Rajasthan Royals in their first match of the season on April 2 and Royal Challengers Bangalore will face Mumbai Indians in their first match of the season on the same day.
