IPL 2022 will see a season without Mr. Suresh Raina for the first time! – The fans were upset
Mr Ipl

Suresh Raina is a super famous player of former Indian cricket team. He is an aggressive left-arm middle-order batsman and occasional spinner who is regarded as one of the best players in world cricket. Fans call him ‘Chinna Tala’ as he is the younger brother of Tala MS Dhoni.
Ipl 2022: The big news surrounds Suresh Raina, who is back in the IPL. Thread!!
Raina was the former vice-captain of Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League and played for the franchise for 12 years. He was also the captain of Gujarat Lions when CSK was banned for 2 years. The powerful batsman is the first Indian batsman to score a century in all three formats of international cricket.
Suresh Raina is known as ‘Mr IPL’ for his fiery knocks and campaigns. He was an impeccable batsman who terrorized bowlers and led many batting records in the IPL. Now the shocking news is that Suresh Raina will not be a part of IPL 2022. The 35-year-old was not retained by Chennai Super Kings and the franchise had no interest in buying him in the mega auction.
Not only CSK but no other team is willing to buy Mr. IPL in mega auction due to his poor form in recent years. It may be noted that Raina has retired from international cricket and has not participated in any domestic tournament. It didn’t sell in the first round and the first acceleration. Suresh Raina was auctioned in the second acceleration as no team showed interest in him.
This is probably the end of the road for Suresh Raina in the IPL. But if he decides to return to his form playing in the domestic tournaments, there will be stiff competition among the teams to get Mr. IPL. CSK fans and fans of Raina are unhappy with the franchise’s decision to drop him. They are heartbroken when they see that their idol is not sold. This will be the first time that the IPL season will be without IPL superstars Raina, AB De Villiers and Chris Gayle.
Thank You Legend
In a video shared on CSK’s YouTube channel, CEO Kasi Vishwanath said, “Raina has been one of the most consistent performers for CSK in the last 12 years. Of course, it has been very difficult for us, but the lack of Raina, but at the same time, the composition of the team is very important for the shape of the team that any team wants to have and you have to understand that it depends on the type, and that is one of the reasons why we think he is not good . suitable for this team”.
