Rashid Khan (79*) performed well with the bat in his team’s loss. Akash Madhwal picked three wickets for MI as GT finished on 191/8 to lose by 27 runs.

With this stunning win, MI jumped to third place and are now trailing CSK by 14 points from 12 matches. Despite the loss, GT continues to lead the points table with 16 points from 12 matches.

Suryakumar Yadav’s impressive performance saw him jump to third place in the Orange Cap race. He now has 479 points in 12 games. Faf du Plessis remains the Orange Cap holder with 576 runs in 11 innings. RR’s Yashasvi Jaiswal is second with 557 points.
